The EMPs certainly do look quite nice. I'm curious if anyone has any experience with them? Does their sound live up to their look? I was recently looking for info on the EMPs but they don't seem very popular, is there a reason for that?. Thanks for any info you may have.

"They (EMP E55ti) sound wonderful. Not quite the most holographic imaging in the world, at least not in my room, but otherwise a good deal, with a very detailed but laid back top end and a smooth, clean, natural midrange, and they play loud without strain."

"If you want a speaker that can truly deliver a tonally accurate, dynamically lifelike reproduction of your music which also happens to look stunningly beautiful, than the EMP Impression E55Ti's should fit the bill nicely. The E55Ti's give you a huge soundstage and can play exceedingly loud down to a modest 50 Hz, with little to no audible compression. In my opinion, these speakers look as good as they sound which is something I rarely find myself saying at this price point for a tower speaker system."
In room response (which is usually NOT very good due to wall reflections) from 300Hz - 20kHz was +/-2dB deviation, which is extremely good, which means they are very accurate.
That 30-day trial is nice.
