This is the color I need on a BMW ... possible with today's models too

BMW i7 in Corsa Rossa with red leather seats?
a BMW i4 in Corsa Rossa with red leather seats wouldn't have been so bad either .... I know BMW can do it ... but it costs "a little"

Maybe a first gen Model S, which are almost 15 years old now? i8 came out after that, and the Lucid is very recent.

I saw that new CLA driving one block from work in full camo. From what I could see, that is definitely it. Tried to snap a pic, but I was going the other way.

I have not watched RichRebuilds before, but this is a pretty interesting look at EVs and hybrids coming out of China. Another channel arranged for him to look at some Chinese cars in Alaska and the prices and the claimed ranges are amazing. He does not delve into the government backing and support of the Chinese auto industry, which is why the cars are so cheap (and led Canada to place a 100% tariff on Chinese EVs). Don't know if I would want that many screens in my car but some interesting designs. This is not a formal review but a candid first look.

Most major countries have put tariffs on Chinese built EVs because the other companies cannot compete on price. China can build things as cheap as possible for many reasons, one of which is the government dictating how and what they can do and how much they can profit from it. The incentive is to sell the most, not build the best, most innovative or efficient.

I think I read recently that China accounts for 20 - 30% of car sales in Mexico already. Their tariff is reportedly only 35% but they are considering an increase to appease the U.S.

Rivian offers to buy out Fiskers and give additional incentive toward a new Rivian. Not bad, you could probably have picked one up cheap before this announcement and get something for it.

I've been trying to get my boss to buy a Rivian, but the last time they were looking the buying process was not to their liking. (Putting a down payment on a vehicle that they didn't know what the OTD price was going to be.). He said they didn't seem very interested in selling them a $80-$90k R1S.

In the last 2 days I have seen a big uptick in the number of Model Y Juniper running around. It definitely looks better than the previous version. Still a Tesla though.

Yesterday I saw my first Lucid Gravity. In person, this looks much better than the sedan. They probably should have released this first. It is about the same price as a Rivian R1S, but looks larger than the Rivian.

This morning I saw a Volvo EX30. It has that Tesla-esque spartan interior, which I don't like, but otherwise looks good. I thought this car would be smaller based on how it was marketed, but seeing it, it is just slightly smaller than the Ioniq5. May have to swing by Volvo and give one a look.

I have also noticed recently that company Turo, who famously had two cars used in terror attacks in one week, seem to be pivoting to or expanding into an automated taxi service. I see various cars with their logo on it seemingly testing self-driving technology.
