It looks like they removed these posts, much to their credit. See post #962 in that thread.
Awwww. You mean he can't post pictures of the subs and say things like,

"We're here to help. Call me."
"I have MOHO and I like it."
"All the best..."
"Humbly..."

Why how sad not to be able to read comments from the faithful in response to all this bona-fide product assistance. :(

By the way, did you ever think that the guy who equated receiving the sub was like the birth of his son may've had a legitimate point? What if his son was born with a few screws loose and the doctor put him in the B-Stock section of babies?

My saga is at an end. My speakers will be delivered tomorrow, 10/28 after two years and 4 days from my original order.
Obviously, I would not preorder again. I'll reserve final judgment until the boxes are opened, but I'll finally have a product.

Sorry if this post is off topic, as my order was through the Graham Company...:p

Nothing is off topic here. So, it's the Graham Company. Does that mean it has a warranty issued by the Graham Company?

The Graham Company, for those who don't know, was Shifty's little side business that he ran under the AV123 flag that once so proudly waved. He used it to bundle various electronics from companies like H/K, Kenwood, etc. into packages with his speakers. These electronics he obtained through a distributor that circumvented the usual channels and provided product to Shifty. What he didn't tell anyone was that the products were gray-market and if you had a warranty issue it couldn't be rectified by going through authorized repair centers. Instead, it had to be sent back to him and he'd contact deal with any 'repair's or product replacement.

The Graham company and customer resolutions are very much on topic here. Thank you for letting us be aware of this. Hopefully the other people that have became a victim by the Graham company get restitution in either a full refund or in the product they have ordered. Consider this a lesson learned :( and btw congratulations :).

P.S Make sure to check them over for any build quality issues.

A lot of the stuff made in China, the factories sell out the back door. Like H/K will have a line, and then they'll run some 'extras' or have some that H/K didn't buy, and they'll export and sell it bypassing the distribution network. The serial numbers are bum on them.

I don't think this was the case here. It was a little side deal that was struck with a legitimate distributor and everyone was looking to make a little cash on the side. Not AV123 as a company though. Just Shifty.

Yes, I think it is good advice to do a thorough quality check.
would you be referring to loose ports, drivers that are not screwed in properly, veneer cracking or something else, like shipping damage?

Todd, are your speakers sold through AV123, MLS, or the Graham Company? What's your warranty?

I don't know. I'll ask in the next few days, after the speakers arrive. I think that if anything needs to be replaced, they'll ship it to me, and I'll install it myself. As to official warranty, I'm not optimistic that there really is one.

The sales receipt that will come with the delivery of his speakers will disclose the company details (Graham or AV123), billing and shipping information, shipping & handling charges, product details, price and final cost. This is the contract that will determine what company it is that he is dealing with.

More quality control issues. This was posted by a customer over at AVS.

Hello, I just got my MfW-15 moho satin today and it looked good, but it wasn't without problems. When I loaded up transformers beginning scene I heard the flapping. I unscrewed the first four screws on the main plate and then there it was, every single screw was stripped. I then proceeded to unscrew them and then put in bigger screws. Once I was done, I then tried to put face plate back on but 2 of the 4 faceplate screws would not go in, because the nut that was on the back of them fell off on the inside of the subwoofer, so I had to unscrew every single driver screw and pull out the driver and then hammer in the nuts back into place cause apparently it wasn't done well enough at the factory. When I did this, I noticed that there were an extra set of holes for the driver to be screwed in.

This led me to believe that at the factory they must know that there are problems screwing the driver in correctly, cause if they get too much stripping going on, it seems they just turned the driver an in or two in a circle and then drilled new holes and hoped they would not strip the next time. So what I did was drill a 3rd set of holes for the driver screws and turned the driver another inch and then drilled the driver in. Even with the bigger screws you still get stripping cause it doesn't seem to be the screws fault, but rather that the wood is really soft. What they need to do is to put the same nuts that are on the back of the faceplate screws on the back of the driver screws so that they are totally tight.

Well once I got the driver back in place and I went to screw in the faceplate screws, one of the nuts fell out on the inside of the driver again, and since there was no way in hell I was going to unscrew that driver again and risk stripping the screws, I then had to wrap the screw with plumbers tape and insert it into the faceplate. You can't leave it empty because air will escape through the whole and you will hear it disrupting the sound.

Moral of the story, AV123 to me appears to know that they are building their amps and subs, substandard sometimes, yet they still continue to ship to customers either hoping we won't notice or hoping for a miracle. I'm pulling for av123, but they need to really do something about quality control and not cut corners. By the way, once I did this most of the flapping stopped. I bet they fix this probably the subs may even go an extra 1 or 2hz lower.
