I currently have a Dynaudio 7.1 system, with Audience 72 mains, a 120C center, 52s for the sides and 42s for the rears. I am contemplating adding a set of dipole speakers to the sides and switch back and forth between those and the direct radiating 52s depending on the source material (ie, dipoles for movies, direct for multichannel audio). Unfortunately, Dynaudio does not make a dipole or bipole speaker, so I either have to make them myself or find a suitable dipole from another manufacturer. Any ideas for possible candidates? I'm thinking that companies that use Scan-Speak, Seas or Vifa drivers might be good candidates, since many of their drivers have similar specs to their Dynaudio counterparts. Anyway, your comments and thoughts are much appreciated.
