definitive or svs?

Guys which or these systems is better for a small 12' by 15' room with a pioneer 816 receiver? I am trying to set up my brother-in-laws' office. I think they cost about the same.
Definitive Technology - ProCinema 800 or SVS SBS-01 system.

I've never heard the Definitive system so I can't comment. But I have auditioned the SVS system, and if your looking for a system to enhance your movie viewing pleasure. This system is sure to please.

I've also heard the svs system and highly recommend it!! Is this a home office or a place of business. If it's a home office then the svs all the way, but if it's only for music then I'd go with the DT pro 800 (JMO). The svs pb10 nsd would kill the DT 8" pro sub 800 in a H/T set up. I've read peoples comments on the AH forum that the DT system is quite good, it's your call.

The SVS does have much better specs than the Definitive.

Thanx too much guys. i was already leaning towards the svs initially but wanted to make sure. Of course i will still do the listening tests for myself. Oh billy p its for a home office and its for both music (75%) and movies.

Since this system is going to be used for music 75% of the time. You might want to check out these speakers. They get great reviews and are supposed to be better for music then the SVS's. I really liked the SVS's for movies since I have auditioned this system. And for movies I highly recommend them. But for music they where just good.
