NAD CAN sound better using DIRAC with custom filters but that’s very advanced for most people.. if you’re using pass through the Yamaha is likely hands down better but if you like to tinker you can use DIRAC and get your speakers to sound better in your room and then design custom EQ curves to your liking and have several for different music or movies.
