I don't know to frame it or to hook it up? Compared to my 575, this thing is a monster and is like 1/3 bigger than it.
That 575 was my first AVR. It served me well. That was a great receiver at the time. I ended up giving to my cousin and he still cranks it everday with no mercy. You new AVR looks good and I'll bet it sounds great.

So, how is ur theater experience going? Im trying my best to set up a 5.1 for now....
So far I am loving the new receiver. Having two seperate subs and with the Audessey having control of them makes a huge difference.

Watching movies has never been this good at home, of course being able to use the lossless codecs could be a huge factor as well. I should have bought a better receiver years ago with a HDMI hookup, but am happy to have waited for this one.

I'm sure that your Onkyo TX-NR1007 is up to the task.
Great setup with a dynamite receiver.

I'd suspect that laminate flooring adds some unwanted colorations to your subs. I suggest a couple of sub dudes to tighten up and decouple the subs.

I'd also hate to see the stuff fried that's sitting on the floor, but I'm sure your careful. I do like the look of the setup.

I wish it was laminate flooring, its cheap vinyl covering concrete. My landlord is a cheap bastard. I guess I'll do some research on these sub dudes, unless you could just post a link.

What items are on the floor?

Sub dude or Gramma would be good under the sub. They do a good job on concrete as well. If you take a look at the second page on My HT link (also in this forum) you will see my sub on a Gramma.

Nice setup! How do you like those yamaha speakers? I'm really about to pull the trigger on a Yamaha YAS-70BL. My budget for speakers is $300. I'm going for that deep base, but I'm not sure about it since the digital amps only deliver 310 watts of power. Seems a little weak to me.:(

I'm going to have to crash your place one of these weekends and check out those speakers. I like the way they look but there isn't much info about them on the net, are they sealed or ported? Did you get rid of the other sub that the rack replaced?

The speakers are ported in the rear and the other sub is currently in a closet for storage. I will save it for a bigger place or to the bedroom in the future.

I love the heights, just need to have the right movie for them to really come alive. The best movie so far has been Twister.
