Hey matt, want your opinion.

My friend is looking for some new computer speakers, and I liked the sound of the Z4s and the X-230s OVEr the Z2300s.

He is set on 2300s because of the THX and fo-wattage, and all he does it read the stupid reviews at FS.

Because I can't slap him, I need someone in the know to givith a brief review so I can prove to him that the lower powered logitech speakers sound better.

I perfer my X-230's that I have at home over the Z-4's but most of it I think has to do with the differences in the room. The X-230's had better bass and don't sound as harsh at high levels. Even witht a true 8" sub in the Z-4's, I don't think it matches the quaility of bass the X-230 puts out.

I haven't heard the X-2300 but from what I've read they aren't worth the exrta $60-70. Midrange is almost non-existant in these speakers so paying more for the THX seal and a bit more bass isn't worth it.

Even on Amazon 36% of the people that look at the x-2300 go for the x-230's. Only 17% actually buy the X2300.

Note to majorloser:

I am 6' 1", 285 lbs. The wife is 5' 6" 130 lbs.

We have a king size bed of which I get approx. 18" along the edge. If I don't like it, there's always the couch (which I'd have to share with the cat).

The only bed I might get 75% of would be my Aerobed I use during hurricanes at work.

LOL, don't let Beast hear that. She is like a sack of potatoes trying to move her out of the way.......60lbs of dead weight.

It's actually not that bad and better than what I get at home on the kingsize. Two german shepards get 50% and between the wife and I, I end up like Majorloser.

I did about twenty minutes ago while I was in the porta-john right out in front of my room. Standing there taking care of business when I hear that unforgetable whistle of a mortar. If it's my time to go I can think of many other ways other than in a nasty porta-john while wearing flip-flops, with my wanker out.

It ended up overshooting the compound.
