Acapella Campanile is a sealed 3,5-way loudspeaker system. Four 25 cm woofers are working in separate chambers and cannot influence each other.

NEW Aerial Acoustics 7T Loudspeakers

Multiple layers of curved, stressed, and laminated MDF provide non-resonant behavior unmatched in conventional flat panel construction. Seven full cross section braces remove any remaining subtle coloration. The resulting labyrinthine structure is virtually inert.

Specially compounded Papyrus forms the stiff but precisely damped midrange cone. This driver is isolated in a separate, wool-filled chamber. The woofer cones are a rigid, damped bilaminate composite. Both driver types have cast magnesium frames, large magnets and long linear excursions. The soft ring-dome tweeter has large dual magnets, a damped chamber, and a copper pole sleeve.

Seamless amplitude and phase integration is provided by precision networks using 21 high-quality components including polypropylene film capacitors and low-oxygen copper air-core coils. High current nickel-steel cores are used in the bass. Separate glass-epoxy boards are employed for the bass and midrange/treble sections. Silver solder and Teflon® insulated high-purity copper wire are used throughout.

New Oppo Headphones and Preamp!

The HA-2 is a portable headphone amplifier and DAC with built-in battery. It is designed for use with a mobile device (iPhone, Android phone, or even Sony's Walkman) or laptop computer. Its USB DAC feature provides a performance improvement to the portable device's audio playback. The headphone amplification gives the user more power to drive their headphones than what a typical mobile device can offer.

The PM-3 uses a planar magnetic driver that is basically the same design as that in their PM-1/2 but smaller. It is closed-back and portable so users can take it on the road.


Product availability targeted by end of Q1, and the price will be $299 for the HA-2 and $399 for the PM-3.

Yes all 6.5" and good analogy though the cabinet is beefier than EMP.

I'm hoping Pioneer has redirected attention to the low-end such that more and more companies compete for the value conscious segment.
We always hear about trickle down technology, but as designers figure out ways to work around tight budgets as AJ did, I could see some potential for trickle up!
