I'm excited about the news of the Denon 1080p capable DVD changer, http://www.audioholics.com/ces/CEStransports/DVM-2845CI-dvd-changer.php.
Double checking that it's a universal player as mentioned...it does DVD-A and SACD right? Any more details available?

Is there any news from Yamaha about a similar universal changer? A 5-disc version of the new DVD-S1700 or DVD-S2700?

I assume the balanced inputs / outputs are listed under the wrong components. While I'm sure someone out there could take advantage of balanced inputs on a pre/pro, what would you do with balanced outputs on a 10-ch amp?

If you're going to bring a "camera crew", you might have some one on that crew who might have a clue how to lav mic and light you and your guests. Also there was only about 10 seconds of video devoted to the receivers. I'm guessing for the the few of us that might afford Denon's separates it was great stuff, but otherwise yet another example of how this site implies that the little guy should consider taking out a 2nd mortgage to have the "in" toys. Are you guys an upscale site? I wish someone would just come out and say "yes" to reassure me that I shouldn't come here.

I'm happy to see the Denon separates, but those components are not going to be cheap! So instead of the "death of high end", it's more like Denon joining more into the "high end" market. Also, McIntosh & Denon are both owned by the same company, D&M Holdings. They also own Marantz, Boston Acoustics, Snell Acoustics, ReplayTV & Escient. D&M's raking in the Yen! Buying Phillips Sound Solutions this month too.

Sherwood Website Not Updated

Unless I'm missing something, not only does the Sherwood website have NOTHING on their new products, their "what's new" page still has things on it from 2005 CES! They need to get their latest products on their webpage if they expect people to go there for info.

It's very frustrating - Nothing on the new receiver and I don't know who sells there stuff.
