The motor mount in that pic looks thick  Is it aluminum or polished stainless? At any rate the whole engine compartment looks real tidy on that one.

Peace,
Tommy

Yeah, the car has a wire tuck. I wish I had the time and patience to do one, but I really don't. That motor mount is aluminum, stiffer then stock too.

my car is my retreat. for the past 2 years it's been my ongoing project. no performance mods; all audio.

I've got a full build thread on DIYmobileaudio.com. I went through 5 pairs of midbasses in one month. I used 3 different sets of tweeters & midranges in a year. Finally settled on scanspeak and am now finally happy with everything. Car audio is a beast. But, through it all, I've learned a whole lot. It's made the transition to home audio much easier as I understand the importance of driver specs, acoustical treatments, and proper implementation of DSP.

a basic rundown:
alpine headunit with processing
3-way active front stage: scanspeak revelators 7" midbass, 4" midrange, d2904 1" tweeter
alpine pdx amps all around
2 Image Dynamics IDmax12's, IB'd

tons of time in install. tons of time in tuning and still a bit everyday.

midbasses in floors, ap'd through floorboard/firewall

covered to protect from water:

subwoofer install:

midrange & tweeter in pillars

Painted the bike

Was never a big fan of the white with the pink stickers but I got a better deal on it so I fixed it over the past couple of weekends.

All the white fairings were removed and painted flat black and replaced the pink stickers with reflective ones.

What a great thread fellas! I've done a few things to my Viggen.

15lb 18"x8" Prime 150s

Hyperboost BV.

Reworked ECU by Nordic, stage 2.

New TSWs I picked up for very little.

Here's a couple shots I took of my last RX-7, a '95 with a few mods here and there ;) It was pretty mild actually, stock twin turbos, streetported motor I built, PowerFC and supporting mods for 325@15psi. Current '95 RX-7 I'm building will be a 420-440rwhp car, GT35R turbo with a Wolf EMS. That project is taking forever though, too many other things I'm working on.

That is a very nice looking (tastefully modded) RX-7, SpkrBldr!

Got my new Akrapovic exhaust today, I'll need to get a few miles on it before posting impressions. These exhausts need about 50-75 miles to come alive.

I'm a car nut. I ended up selling my car a while ago, just because I wasn't in the financial position to keep up with it. Hopefully in a little bit I can pick something up again.

331 Stroker, A4 race block, pretty much full tilt to support a T76 turbo.

Went in here:

New front suspension to match the rear that was already in there:

What fun is a sleeper without a little bit of cockyness?

Lots of welding, grinding and painting:

Another car I built that a friend ended up buying off of me:

100% stock engine, built for a daily driver.

Nice mustangs! I like it when people turbo charge V8s, serious horsepower.

Could a moderator maybe resize the large images posted by Eric Henderson (sp?) Even my 1920x1080 doesn't fit.
