In 1979, I bought a brand new one of the 1980's X series front wheel drive cars, an Oldsmobile Omega. This car showed rust at the edge of the roof in the 1st year of ownership. I should have sued GM, but I wasn't aware at the time then that I would have won against GM. My fist and last GM vehicle. Since 1998, I have only owned Honda cars with great satisfaction.
Sue GM ??? for crying out loud the car was still under warranty ! Regardless, edge of the roof probably suggest a surface imperfection.

Not too much the old ones like Found On Road Dead etc but the ones the new generations made. They’re much better IMO. Some hilarious ones. I have a list of many, but since my Ranger sucks, why not Ford LOL. There’s a lot. They seem to get ridiculed just about more than any other.

Ford: F—ker Only Rolls Downhill; Frequent Opinion: Really Disappointed; Fumes and Odors Readily Detectable; Forgot Our Recommended Defaults; First Order of Reproductive Discipline; Forwarded Once, Return Denied; Features OJ and Ron’s DNA; First On Rust and Deterioration; First On Recall Day; Famous Odor Resistant Dog; Fault OF R & D; Fraternal Order of Restored DeSoto’s; Follow Our Rusty Dogsled; F—kin’ Owner Real Dumb; Federation Of Rusty Dungers; F—king Out Right Dangerous; First On Road to Dump; Free Or Reduced Drastically; Frequently On Ritalin, Designers; Forced On Reluctant Drivers; Foot On Road Decelerates; Formed Of Rejected DNA; Flintstone Or Rubble Driven; Fix Or Recycle Dilemma; Fireball On Rear Denting; Falling Off: Rusty Door; Fails On Rainy Days; Fabricated Of Refried Dung; Forward Only, Reverse Defective
Mostly for anyone new to the topic. Above has the killer OJ acronym. A real stinger. Ouch!;)

Ford: (backwards) Driver Returns On Foot; From Our Rejects Department; Flip Over, Read Directions; Fancy Oil Recycling Device; Frequently Overhauled, Rarely Driven

I can’t believe nobody said the right acronym for KIA: Killed In Action.

Outstanding name for a car.

Their next car name will be named MIA: Missing In Action.

Well if I were targeting the US market to sell my cars, I would Google “KIA Acronym” and see that in the USA, KIA is very common for KILLED IN ACTION. :D

I didn't see this post until just now- GM used water-based paint as the EPA was requiring, but the primer was the wrong type, so the paint basically fell off. I had a '92 LeSabre and watched it fly off as I used my garden hose to spray it before using the soap to wash it. A boss had a Citation and his was silver- I have been told by paint sellers, manufacturers and body shop painters that it's the color with the least pigment, so it's affected by Sunlight more than the others. My LeSabre in dark Sage Green metallic didn't seem to care- it blew off in a large area.

GM had a recall as soon as the paint became a big problem.
