Read last year in What HI FI and other mags that the Philips 34" theater wide was a great unit and the price point was excellent. I am also hearing a lot about the new theater wide Toshiba. I have a 27" Flat Toshiba that I am very happy with but must upgrade as it is to small for my new viewing room. Lots of hype on plasma these days not much any more on Flat screens. I know panasonic is supposed to make some real killer sets. Any help is greatly appreciated....

Official Sanyo HT32744/HT30744 thread (at AVS Forums) Compare 16: to 4x3 TV dimentions I felt that the 32" 4x3 was a better overall deal than a 30" 16:9 TV for my viewing needs.
