M moreira85 Audioholic Chief Dec 20, 2006 830 0 28 Dec 12, 2024 #7 Ended up returning it. I’ll have to look for a projector. I have an Epson powerlite from work I’ve been using. It’s work until I buy another. Reactions: BMXTRIX

BMXTRIX Audioholic Warlord Sep 16, 2004 8,803 0 113 Dec 13, 2024 #8 A shame. The HT2050 is a really nice projector. Super reliable as well, so it sucks that it has this issue for sure.

Also seems like this forum is pretty dead. Click to expand... It is VERY slow in here. Most of the forum talks about audio, so it is other places that have a more lively conversation about projectors for sure. But, it's nice to be able to get some answers or feedback which may be a bit less lost in the weeds as you may find on those other forums. Repairs are a tough one though. FixItFrank hasn't been visiting any groups lately that I've seen and he would be the one who really knows the answers and can truly give some technical know-how. A shame he hasn't been around anywhere lately. I'm sure he has family and personal matters which must come first.

M moreira85 Audioholic Chief Dec 20, 2006 830 0 28 Dec 27, 2024 #13 No worries. I cleaned it all up still no luck. It’s trash and DOA. End up getting another one that was mint condition for less money.
