EP 4000s for HT
If you use a Behringer DCX2496 processor, you will not need the conversion boxes, as the DCX does the conversion for you. As the DCX is a very powerful processor that you will have many uses for to increase SQ and to other things, like add subs transparently and do many various response corrections/modifications, then maybe just go ahead and get the DCX.

Thanks. I'm all new to HT, and am 'amped' about using pro amps for it. So if get the DCX2496 as the processor, and I use two EP 4000s for a front and rear pair, a sub with it's own amp, and a EP2000 or 4000 for the center channel, what else do I need??
Any input appreciated. I have about $2500 budget for speakers (front and rear pair, and center) if I want to make an upgrade there. Any recommendations?
