I'm thinking the Doc was right about leaving a raised ridge. This thing is now perfectly flat and looks really good.I'm not so sure about that "ends up being level" thing, but she's the surgeon. My scars didn't stick up like that and they are still slightly raised as it is - I had staples though and my big scar is about 6" long. If you look up the methods for managing scarring (like after a C-section for chicks), you can just try some of those things to help it go back to more normal once it is all sealed up. It isn't exactly in a place where it will get a lot of skin "refreshing", like hands, so you will have to actively work on it. The stuff that is stretched will probably stay that way for a while and then go back to normal too.
Glad to hear it. We were all so worried about your scarring....I'm thinking the Doc was right about leaving a raised ridge. This thing is now perfectly flat and looks really good.
