Today will be my first day back on the road bike. Still another week before I can ride the Mountain Bike.

Wouldn't you know it, it's raining and 39 degrees. That increases the chance of going down by a lot and I can't take a crash yet.

I am still going out but will take it easy and just do 10 miles or so.

My biggest fear as always is getting hit by lsiberian, in his car, since he lives close to me...

Headed out in 30 minutes.

You just lost all right to make fun of Bryce for four hours.

So does alcohol.

Just stop forgetting the safety word, dude. :D
Ha, corrected it before it was too late.:D

Tell that to my wife, it seems lost on her...

Ride was short lived. 20 mph winds made it brutal out there with a wind chill of 29 and I just couldn't dig in deep mentally and push through it plus my hands were freezing and numb. That part pisses me off as I have brand new winter gloves.

So a grand total of 3.5 miles . Oh well, at least I tried it and my shoulder was completely normal feeling.

Now I am going to eat a big bowl of Chili...

I'm not so sure about that "ends up being level" thing, but she's the surgeon. My scars didn't stick up like that and they are still slightly raised as it is - I had staples though and my big scar is about 6" long. If you look up the methods for managing scarring (like after a C-section for chicks), you can just try some of those things to help it go back to more normal once it is all sealed up. It isn't exactly in a place where it will get a lot of skin "refreshing", like hands, so you will have to actively work on it. The stuff that is stretched will probably stay that way for a while and then go back to normal too.
I'm thinking the Doc was right about leaving a raised ridge. This thing is now perfectly flat and looks really good.

If PDawg has told you guys once, he's told you a hundred times...

being metro-sexual doesn't necessarily mean gay.
