@TLS Guy I can't complain about any other part of the calibration. The mids and highs are good, and the clarity is quite good. It must have gotten the distances dead on the money. There's just a tremendous lack of bass the farther down the curve you go.
@William Lemmerhirt I tried that already. In fact, by the time I was done I had them cranked up as high as it would let me. It helped but that generated a new problem. Boosting the sub output boosted all the frequencies the subs were playing. So it made the deep bass sound better, but then as you get closer to 60hz the more bloated it would sound. I didn't like how it sounded, and I'm thinking running them that way would be pretty hard on the subs so I turned it back down. The only really good way to fix it, as far as I'm concerned, is to somehow un-do the bass curve that Audyssey put in it. Is Dirac the only way to that?
