Dude, I have thought about it for sure. Its just I'm pretty young now and I'm afraid I'll want one at some point in the future. I'd like to know if I'm sterile or not though... if I'm sterile its a non-issue. They say ganja lowers your sperm count, well, mine should be pretty damn low then. I don't want to end up like Trick Daddy with 30 kids or some ****. Still a huge decision to make, i assume it isn't reversable...
You can be tested for sterility without committing to a vasectomy, so if you are curious, you can find out. Of course, the test isn't typically free.
As for ganja lowering your sperm count, you certainly shouldn't count on that to keep you from becoming a father. A low sperm count isn't the same as being absolutely sterile. Men with low sperm counts have become fathers, and you don't want to accidentally become a father, even if eventually you want to become a father.
Generally, they say that you should not have a vasectomy if you ever want children, because it is somewhat more difficult, and somewhat unreliable, to try to reverse it. Still, there have been successful reversals, but I would not recommend counting on it. If you think you might want to have children in the future, you probably should either not get a vasectomy, or you should make up your mind and decide you never want children.
Also, if you go to get a vasectomy, you will be asked, over and over, if you are sure you want it, and are sure you never want children. If you ever waver, or hesitate, they will be likely to send you on your way without doing the vasectomy, as they don't want people to regret what is done.
From what I have been told from speaking with various people, most women are happier to have sex with a sterile man than with some sissy who is too afraid of getting a vasectomy. Think about it: If sex could lead to
you getting pregnant, wouldn't you be more hesitant about it than you are now? But if having sex with a particular individual would be risk free, then that would make things different. I only met one woman who said she preferred having sex with someone who wasn't sterile, as it was more "exciting" to think that she could get pregnant. Generally, though, it seems that women tend to prefer not taking such dramatic risks. They usually are smarter than most men give them credit for, though, of course, there are stupid and crazy people of both genders.
