I'd be more concerned about retaliation than anything. Assuming someone was actually home and they knew who was banging on the door, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to put 2 & 2 together. Keep your eyes open.

That is my major concern. If I wasn't worried about the safety of my wife and dogs, I would have just used a floor jack, lifted it off the ground and pulled it out to the middle of the street and put a note on it telling them that I did it.

I have done that before when I was single.

My uncle use to do that to people who parked in front of his drive way in NYC. Calling the cops to remove the vehicle so that he could get out did nothing. Blocking the street with vehicle got it towed quick. No note, no nothing ... just no car.

I finally talked to my buddy. He said he didn't jack with my neighbor, he just asked him to park his car at his own house and then told him to be careful with the warrant and all.

My view of Texas law enforcement must be all twisted from watching Walker, Texas Ranger. I figured that guy would be in a body cast by now.

The long arm of the law just seems a little shorter today, well at least you are breathing a sigh of relief about the retaliation part, good ending.
