Hey, sorry Mike. I didn't vote in your poll because I prefer the anonymity of my preference. That's why they have closed booths here. Well, okay, I'll fess up. I'm voting for Annunaki because, unlike the main party candidates, he has reasonably bright ideas, doesn't have hundreds of millions of dollars in special interest groups funding him (or does he? ), and best of all, he loves a/v!

Let me ask a question of you, Mike. What's your take on how the general population of the Philippines sees this election?

I didn't say anything about what Obama's qualifications or McCain's other qualifications might or might not be.

Im voting for McCain. Its not so much a vote for McCain like you said...its a vote against racial prejudice/bigotry, The love of violent radicals, higher taxes that will take from those who worked to have and give to those who have not worked and have not, also a vote against those who would like to disarm honest Americans so they can really go for the jugular, without fear of any significant retaliation.

the local news has been so depressing that i just stopped watching/reading.
i don't know wth is going on out there ... but i do look at the newspaper headlines everyday (i have 3 broadsheets everyday) - and if i had to guess my country is going to &*() and it wouldn't care about what's going on in the US.

Its sad that everywhere is having economic difficulties. I cant imagine why people with more money than they could ever need/spend, just want more and more. Sooner or later money will be insignificant, and food and other things that we need will be the only thing of value. I could live off of the land, but its more convienent to go to the grocery store. Man i hope your country gets things sorted ASAP, As i hope ours does as well.
