We don't freeze clocks to win games. ;)

Landry kind of made them popular in the country because he was such a great guy. Jones has done a lot to polarize folks, but at the end of they day. The Cowboys bring the highest ratings, have the highest value, and now have the best stadium. :D Too bad we christened it with a 4 turnover loss to the Gnats. It will be a good game the Cowboys better be ready to play because I know the Packers will be. Is there anything in Green Bay besides ice and snow?:( That's all I saw when I was there. ;)
Of course the boys get high TV ratings. Football is religion down there and Texas is huge! Houston doesn't count as competition. Just how many hundreds of miles away is the closest team? The only way my Pack will be ready is with a miracle of a new offensive line. Won't help that the only guy who can pressure the QB might not play due to a concussion. I really hope they surprise me and pull it together this week. I had a college room mate from Texas, and I'm sure he'll be calling if Dallas wins. And believe it or not, no snow yet this year. I should be careful what I say, don't want to bring on a huge storm.

Weddle gets fined for hit on Boss

Complete BS. I haven't watched it since the game, but from what I remember, it was a clean hit. Weddle led with his shoulder, not his head. Their heads came close to hitting because Boss lowered his head. Tell me, as a defender, how the hell are you supposed to avoid the receivers head when he lowers it?!!?!?

He agrees with me that Cutler sucks.

"I really question whether he can play,"
A couple of those picks the other night were because his WR's slipped or fell. Although you have to admit the recivers for da Bears just plain suck...but Cutler still makes poor decisions in key siuations. BTW...I have him in our FF league and don't think I've ever started him. Then again ...I also have Rivers....:D

I sawz the re-play and as is typical for us philly fans, let me also bash the refs and the league for that fine it was wrong the hit was clean with no intentional dirty play but once again some big shots want to change the game of football to pansy ball..

The Boys looked terrible on offense out there. That was embarrassing. I am hiding my face. :(

The NFC East just took the biggest dump I have ever seen , the other divisions are laughing at us and the announcers are laughing as well, what a joke between the big three and guess what, watch out for the Redskins, I can't believe I just said that, I need a cocktail or something,

A little glimpse into how it feels to be a Packer fan this year.

Give the Pack credit, there was more to it than Dallas looking bad.
Green Bay, for the first time this year, played a complete game.

I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. After the week before, I thought there was no way they'd pull out a win. Saved me from a painful phone call from an old roommate. Still a lot of games left. I just hope they can keep playing at the level they showed on Sunday.

Yeah that has to stink man. We lost because we didn't run the ball which is what we do best. Romo nearly had the lead rushing total. Can you explain why we try to pass against the best secondaries in the league when we have the running game we do?

Some love for Rivers

http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/10383456/Schein-9:-For-Chargers,-it's-in-Rivers-we-trust-

Did you watch him last weekend? Did you see Rivers' virtuoso, flawless performance in a gigantic, critical win for the Chargers? Rivers completed 20 of 25 passes, threw for 231 yards, two touchdowns, no picks, saved the season, the head coach's job, took the heat off the cantankerous general manager and the loud-mouthed linebackers, managed to infuriate the opposition and may or may not have saved women and children from a burning building.

Rivers is carrying this team and sneaking into the MVP mix.

Against the Eagles, Rivers had a whopping 131.8 quarterback rating. The week before, he mesmerized the Giants defense with a game-winning drive. Rivers has 16 touchdowns against six picks. He's a classic gunslinger who oozes confidence. Rivers is good, and he will let everyone, from the opposing players to the opposing fans, know about it.

Word is the Bills are in contact with Mike Shanahan. Hopefully a meeting gets set up. They are acting fast and its a good strategy becuse there is plenty of good coaches/g.m's available. I wouldn't have a problem with this move at all, actually I think it would be a good fit for him as a head coach. Hey what the hell, give him the g.m position too. It would be a bbbbbbiiiiiiiiiiiigggggggggggg step up when it comes to the front office, evaluating player personnel and the head coaching position. Others being mentioned is Jim Hazlett, Kevin Gilbride and a CFL head coach. Mike is the best out of the bunch IMO.
