MTB...I agree. With the money and talent level of the Dallas Cowboys they're mediocre at best. Both he (Wade Phillips) and Greg Williams were head coaches at Buffalo and in both cases they lacked the mindset of being a head coach in the NFL...albeit in the Williams case his niche is defensive co-ordinator and Wade is much the same and history has showen us he is no Bum Phillips...;):)

This statement is not reality it is being delusional. I have seen Wade Phillips manage countless games when he had his tenure in Buffalo calling the shots, he is not underated, he is one of the worst head coaches in the league, he is very poor at managing the game (clock management, timeouts) and his leadership ability is suspect; just another lame duck that walks the sidelines, aka **** Jauron and Norv Turner. In his time with the Bills every other head coach was wearing a headset at the time in the league except for him, that is what I call an idiot! If Jones would fire him at the end of the year he would not get any head coaching job ever again, I still can't believe he hired him in the first place. His only saving grace is that he can come up with some great defensive schemes and is well suited as a defensive co-ordinator.

The biggest problem in Dallas is the head coach, then Romo.
The problem with this idea that he is a bad coach in Dallas is there isn't enough evidence to support this position.

1. If your coach is 13-3, 9-7(injury plagued season including losing his QB), and 4-2 in the first 3 seasons doesn't that indicate he's been successful. You might cry playoff failure but he's only had 1 playoff game in Dallas and it was a very close game.

Perpetuating the idea that Romo is a bad QB and Phillips is a bad coach with the Cowboys are what's delusional. The facts show the opposite.Remember in the NFL winning is what counts.

Hey I like Romo...but lets be honest here...they should be a lot better than they've showen and at some point to boils down to coaching.
I'd disagree with that. We lost our number 1 receiver and didn't have a replacement until Miles Austin broke out. Plus our defense lost Greg Ellis. Our pass rush clicked for the first time a couple of games ago with his replacement.

They've only lost to Denver and New York and both loses were last second.
Besides we already did the September/October peaking and we saw how well that ended. I prefer peaking in December/January.

I've seen good coaches fired before that were thought bad and the team went to the toilet. So we could do a lot worse than making the playoffs and competing for the NFC east every year.

Both Greg Williams and Wade Phillips are outstanding defensive minds but just do not cut it as a head coach. Phillips even had a decent amount of talent to work within Buffalo just like in Dallas. He had a top 5 defense, a hot quarterback at the time in Doug Flutie who had a few decent years, who he eventually pulled for Rob Johnson for the playoff game. (another mistake) I have seen so many coaching errors watching the Bills over the past 10 years which has cost us games under Phillips, Williams, Mularky and now Jauron...sigh.

From the Highlights that I saw that was a good matchup, :)
Yeah, it had me just a tad worried that this might be the Colts first loss. But they hung in there. The Niners played some good ball and sacked Peyton three times.

Why do you say this? I have not seen anything he has done wrong this game? I agree with his call going for it on 4th and goal. They had the lead and he wasn't coaching scared, also they have a terrific rb...I respect that call. I don't recall anything else he has done accept make a good challange on a fumble.

How about my boy Harvin today. What a player!
