(note, i have a tempporary 6.1 receiver setup)

I have heard of people claiming that different types of stands and isolators effected the audio quality from their electronics. So does that styrofoam receiver stand give it a more airy sound??? But seriously, styrofoam can generate static electricity and might not do well with the heat generated by your receiver. Reactions: Tomorrow

mike c Audioholic Warlord Jul 27, 2005 9,514 0 113 Manila Dec 14, 2005 #11 T2T, i won't be "using" them until july next year (when I get married) ... but i do "calibrate" them everytime I "feel" that I get a good idea jcpanny, that's called the monster styro receiver elevator ... actually, im just raising it off the floor so i wouldn't have to squat that low. I don't run it that long for the receiver to produce that much heat ... remember: I just calibrating the system, not "using" it Chuck, sharp eyes to see the DTS logo ... yeah, im so glad I didn't buy the grand wega thing (especially because there's another thread showing how those sony's are growing yellow plants) this one is clearer too. just a little bit more, and Im gonna be done with this HT setup ... im getting the other DTS demo's as I need them but all before christmas!
