Time to buy a gun ... again
I am personally not a fan of anything less than 4" for a barrel length, but if it is going into a purse for a defense gun than 2" is fine. The shorter barrel will have a little more recoil and may be a little harder to control. With a compensated barrel it is less of an issue but the shorter...

Time to buy a gun ... again
They are full of crap. A ported .357 is a dream to shoot and with 38's in 357 frame it's like shooting a 22. My wife shoots a .357 with full power loads in an unported Ruger GP100 just fine and she is the biggest wimp you ever saw. Have you seen a picture of my wife? Remember Mike; don't...

I might also add that many of the magnum rounds were started by hopping up existing rounds. The 357 came from hot loaded 38's, the 454 from hot loaded 45LC, the 44mag from hot 44 specials, etc, etc.

Time to buy a gun ... again
Out of the 4 Smiths that I have owned all them had issues with reliability. I have never had an issue with my Ruger or Taurus revolvers. One of my Smiths developed a timing issue and sent copper shavings flying back at me. If not for my shooting glasses it would have hit me in the eye. This...

Magnepan MMG
Those are a great sounding set of speakers and one of the gems of the audio world. Paired with a sub or two and you have a heck of a two channel system for not much money. Maggies are some of my all time favorite sounding speakers.

Time to buy a gun ... again
Mike, If she is a beginner at shooting then you most certainly should be getting her a revolver. They fire when you pull the trigger and they never jam. No way I would ever recommend getting a new shooter an auto pistol. That said there really is no choice but to get a .357 for several...

Optoma $199 PT100 PlayTime LED Projector Preview
I didn't look at the specs and realize they were that bad. That is pretty pitiful.

Optoma $199 PT100 PlayTime LED Projector Preview
I could see this in a kids bedroom with a 50 to 60 inch retractable screen for games and movies. My son would love it. Heck, it cost less than the 22in flat screen I bought him.

I believe there is going to be a new addition to the family in our house soon. His name is going to be an XPA 5:D

I Lost Respect for Pat Metheny
I just watched Steve Miller Band live in Chicago with my Dad last night and I believe I saw some of those bose tower things on the stage. Someone correct me if I am mistaken. I will say one thing and that is the concert sounded really good and had some of the clearest vocals I have yet heard...

Fan made AssKickin Porcupine Tree Video
Yeah, my wife hates them too. What can I say her musical taste suck;) Pretty good effort on the amateur video. I saw a few things I would personly tighten up and cut out, but pretty good overall. I have a video idea for "Enter Sandman" that someday I am going to do.

I Lost Respect for Pat Metheny
Gene, Let me ease your suffering a little. He is using them to get a "sound" that he is looking for. In the performance you are hearing them amplified and coming out of other speakers. Much like a guitar player uses a tube fender amp but then the entire concert is amplified by discrete...

Do Laser Lenses Get "Magnetized"?
I was going to suggest doing it manually as I have done for some people. In a couple of instances it worked and in some it didn't. Certainly worth a shot though if your player is acting up.

Do Laser Lenses Get "Magnetized"?
I have an RCA first generation DVD player that my Dad is using in his bedroom. I have never cleaned anything inside it, and it works perfectly.

My sister was in the pentagon that day and had just left the area that was hit. Our family will never forget that day.
