Technology is getting better. They're class AB amps that are running cool! They must have large heat sinks, plus the rubber feet look to be about 3/4 to 1" tall. They are putting out heat, it just being dissipated via good design. Kelly

That's two awesome systems that you have there. I personally favor your basement setup! I have and Outlaw 770 amp that was made by ATI, no balanced inputs though. I have not listened to any ATI amps, but I'm sure they are great amps. Cheers:)

I have a Denon 2910 and it's motor is noisy also. I must say that it produces very good audio and video though. The 2910 is leaps and bounds better than my other unit a Pioneer 578A.

I bought the On An Island CD by David Gilmour last night. If your a Pink Floyd fan, you'll like this CD a lot! I would give it a 4.5/5 on performance and a 4.8/5 for the recording. I should not convey the numbers game, so in a nutshell just say yes and buy it! Cheers;)
