I actually had a chance to hear these speakers last CEDIA. I had no idea they were $20k/pair. I didn't walk away impressed, especially now seeing the price. These are IMO certainly not the best horn speakers I've heard from JBL, though they were the most costly.

That's great progress for them. Axiom fans should really be happy with this design and it seems like a nice upgrade from a VP150.

exactly! the laws of diminishing returns happens much quicker with audio gear than it does with cars. Hence it should b/c cars are far more complex and expensive to produce.
