I don't think you are kidding. Linda Ronstadt is one of the greats, and I would have included her on my list if I had thought of it. Diana Krall is a good jazz singer, but the best I have heard in that genre so far is Madeline Peyroux.

Remember, if you replace both the receiver and the speakers at the same time, you will not be able to tell how much difference each made on its own. The only way to judge the effect is to upgrade each component separately.

I owned a pair of Klipsch Reference bookshelves for a while. I really liked them at first, but developed severe listening fatigue over time. After that experience, I recommend not getting Klipsch.
