Not a lot of camera skills, but I will give it a try. One of the things that looks way cool is that the speakers are practically dwarfed by the stands (in fact, there were some stands I rejected because the top plate was too big!)

There aren't any dealers for the Sierras. You have to buy them online and return them if not satisfied.

Those are not on the Infinity website, so they must be discontinued. Any reason for your interest in that particular series?:confused: Their best sounding current models are the Beta series, and they also offer Cascade for those willing to pay a large premium for looks.

Try the Zarbang. You may find that it is your new reference.

Ironically, I ended up biwiring my new Cambridge S30s.:o Why? Because the Canare "star quad" cable is what I would have bought for them anyway (it is Blue Jean's heaviest gauge), and it makes biwiring trivially easy. I still don't believe it makes any difference, but it doesn't hurt anything and...

I have a CD by him, but it has a bit too much studio "polish". I wish he would put out a live recording.

I have been listening to a lot of music that combines Indian classical with electronica. My latest favorite is Chebi Sabbah, and Anoushka Shankar is really good too.

I wonder if it was based on Ray Bradbury's short story The Golden Apples of the Sun? The plot looks similar to that, at least.

Oh. Well, there goes more than half of my motivation for buying one.:( Maybe when they cost the same as ordinary DVD players.

Hopefully, it will turn out to have been something silly like that instead of an actual problem, and won't happen again. My overall impression is of outstanding build quality, and this is confirmed by reviews.
