There is no question that religion has some positive aspects. The question is whether or not these are sufficient to outweight the negative aspects. To me, they are not.

Getting back on topic, I have read that new recruits to Scientology have to be in a "nutrition" program. This program is so poorly designed that many people get sick from it (ironically, due to lack of nutrition.)

It astonishes me to see any Mirage speaker described as directional. They are hardly perfect speakers, but lack of directionality is their primary asset.:confused: I wonder if you have a room issue that needs dealing with before any speakers will sound good.

Ther is nothing to know. It is an empty subject, with no actual content. (When I see someone avoiding the cracks in the sidewalk or throwing salt over his shoulder, there is really nothing else I need to know about it.)

I have a couple of his CDs, and I agree that he is excellent. Since you like his style, you might also enjoy Johannes Linnestead.

When I got my all-Cambridge Audio system, one of the first (of many) things that blew me away was how rich, detailed, and lifelike orchestral passages sounded. Based on this, I tried getting into classical, but so far I can't do it. Everything I have with acoustic instruments on it sounds...

The only horn speakers I have heard are Klipsch, and I hate those. (Way too bright and harsh.)

Depending on room size, it could well be a lot less. Blue Jeans' most expensive speaker cable is only $1.05/ft, and their interconnects run about $20/pr. Spending more than that would gain you nothing at all. With the money saved, you could upgrade to the 803s.

You can get those same speakers from Audio Advisor for a total of $400. At that price, it is a tough deal to beat.

You are beginning to inch slightly closer to getting the legitimate point I have been making all along. Maybe a little more thought, and you will get there. It was never christians in general that I referred to as "scary" (merely believing in BS like miracles and Jesus having "died for our sins"...

I have never been able to watch more than a few minutes of 3D without getting a headache. Perhaps the technology has improved? I am looking forward to hologram-based displays (viewable from all sides, no glasses.)
