HK sent me a best offer thing saying they would take no less than $575 shipped for the receiver and i swayed them down to $500. Their answer is just a counter-bid. If you keep bidding, they will come down.

8" ers just wont do the job. Trust me... I am looking for something with a 12" for full range sound. I saw in another post someone recommended a dayton 12". Is there any specific model that would work best?

you would hate more for you to use them cables in the manner you are now and it still sounding like poo! I guess either way you are at a loss with the cables so you might as well make the best of the situation and run stereo subs!

its just a signal, it will be ok. Just make sure you buy a good splitter. And about the speaker wire, run it to the sub, and run the line out from the sub to the speakers with another piece. It will sound a lot better this way.
