I use isolation platforms under my TT and tubed power amps. IMO they improve the sound of those devices. I seem to have less background noise coming through the vinyl playing process. There are definately fewer microphonics coming from my output tubes. I don't know if they are really needed...

www.needledoctor.com has Nitty Gritty machines starting at $255. The lower priced machines are manual operation (ie:you apply cleaning fluid and rotate the LP by hand) but do just as good a job as the more expensive automatic ones. :cool:

I've got a TEAC 3340 1/4" 2 track it only runs at 71/2 and 15 ips but it sounds really sweet. I don't use it much anymore but it sure looks impressive on the rack. Maybe I'll bring it out of the closet. :cool:

I checked the site. The speakers in the picture don't resemble any Super Zero I've ever seen. I didn't like my friends because of the white laminate but those in the picture look nothing like his different color or not. :cool:

One of my friends has a pair of Super Zero's with a Cambridge sub. He got the NHT's on a deal and the sub through a scratch and dent sale. I don't really like the white laminate the Zero's are wrapped in but for the money? Very nice sound for the money. The Super Zero's sound quite good. :cool:
