Yea, it doesn't have a drop down door like it's great grandfather, the 1015TX.

WTB: Optoma HD70 projector
Looking for one. Preferably with low hours. Let's say 500 or less. Must be willing to ship to Canada.

Mike C's HT setup
This pic is giving me an idea. "Daddy's tired, go back to mom, go on, crawl to her in the next room" *kid looks stumped* Puts on depth charge scene from U571 "Honey, how did the baby get here so quick?"

Marantz VP-15S1 DLP Projector Review
It looks like such a great projector. Wish Marantz made it a little more affordable.

Projector mounting, stupid question?
Hi, could you post some shots of your silver mounting thing-y-ma-jig? I'm considering something similar as my ceilings are 12 feet high. You didn't drill into the projector did you?

Yo Joe! G.I. Joe live action movie
So did I. Snake Eyes fuses both cultures. Americans love guns, Asians love swords. Snake Eyes doesn't discriminate. He'll kill you with both. :D

Yamaha RX-V663 Receiver Overview
Yea, it seems this receiver transcodes all signals to HDMI, but doesn't upscale. Your display will still have to upscale it.

Should I keep my Pioneer VSX-1015 or.....
Yea, I remember many on AVS getting upset by this. What a D$% move by Onkyo to abandon those who supported them most by shelling out the kind of money this receiver does. I heard it connected to a pair of High end Totems, and it sounded unbelievable. The guy then switched to a Pioneer...

Does it come with the HDMI modules? I thought you had to buy it separately. Anyways, if it comes with HDMI, then I'd keep this because there's nothing on the planet that will come close to touching the sound quality of this for the price he's paying.

Should I keep my Pioneer VSX-1015 or.....
That is a serious flagship receiver! Do it! I know there are going to be people coming in here and saying "But it doesn't have HDMI, what about Blu-ray?" True to a degree, but you re-coup all your money back if you sell it later anyways. And for Blu-ray, Panasonic's BD50 is decodes all the new...

HK AVR 347/ deep color support?
LOL! The HK 347 can`t even do HDMI video properly (sparkles, dropouts, etc...) let alone deep color.

Yamaha RX-V663 Receiver Overview
The V663 is not in the same league as the 805. It's in between the 605 and 705, in terms of features and power. The 705 still has the extra HDMI input, making it on par with the V863. The 805 is closer to the Yamaha V3800 actually if you look at the specs. If you don't need the extra HDMI...

That's the problem with time travel, it's never really explained. The best we can gather is what James Cameron hints at throughout the 1st 2 movies. "There's no fate but what we make for ourselves". I think that statement can be interpreted as a metaphor for time travel as well. I think what...

Reon vs Faroudja
How is it that an entry level projector, the BenQ W500 that sells for $800 has the Reon chipset, yet we're not seeing it in mid-level equipment?

Yes, it's parallel timeline. It seems the parallels begin with Kyle's first jump. That creates 2 timelines - one where he's not the father, and the other where he is. But once in the original timeline, the alternate timeline access is not possible.
