The old Dyna tube power amps (MKIII's) have a nice big fat bass. I believe solid state has a cleaner deeper bass. Of course a lot of this depends on the size of the output transformers. The bigger they are the better the bass.:cool:

For a nice selection of world music check out Quango records. I have purchased several of their samplers, Afro Tech, Asian Groove and Brazilified. I have bought several CD's because of the samplers. They also have other samplers.:cool:

I make my own cables so purchasing decisions are not a factor. I want to know how 20ft. of wire can cost more than a good amplifier. :cool:
