Try using a lower crossover frequency for your subs. 150Hz is in the area where sound is directional. For best results with good speakers like the Maggy's use 100Hz or lower.:cool:

Some of my Bass amps are tubed some are SS. Ampeg B-15 tubes -- Sunn Collisium SS -- Traynor YBA3 Tubes I've never owned a receiver so I can't comment on that.:cool:

Cleanest doesn't mean you have to hide your speaker cables. Sometimes having them show is part of the look.:cool:

You're right MDS. I forgot about the crossover setting on the subwoofer. I have electronic crossovers and I sometimes forget the small things involved in setting up systems. Also, I've never owned a receiver.:cool:

There is some special paint that is used when projecting pictures directly on a wall. A Google search may help you find it.:cool:

You could set your receiver for small mains and use a Y connector to two RCA's for your sub (from the sub output off your receiver). you really don't need the outputs on the sub as your outputs from the receiver to your mains are already bandwith limited. :cool:
