Well, with stores offering such generous return policies, you could always buy an LCD and Plasma and return the one you didn't like. That way, you can be sure whether or not, all the worries were addressed.

I only have experience with LCD technology. I own a 42" Sharp 1080p LCD. It's a great tv. I bought it in fall 2007. Yes, there's motion blur, and yes the black level sucks. But you know what, the image is bright, and really sharp, and the image has a great 3d pop. My living room is open...

So the screen hides the tv when in use.

The player looks pretty good as well. Blu-ray really needs to cut the loading. I appreciate the fact that the players are getting slimmer but we don't need credit cards, we need ones that load as quick as DVDs.
