Man, I still remember this one substitute in eight grade that insisted on trying to teach us something and making us work instead of showing us a video or the like. That was breaking the unspoken code. It's been over 25 years since then, and I still think that guy was a douche.

At least last year, the bag that i got at Home Depot specifically said the grass was heat resistant, and it worked great. I went to Ace today, and they have the same brand with fescues in various mixes, but none specifically said heat resistant in the name. The one that I got said it in the description, so I gave it a try.

I remember when a friend of mine did something similar. Except he did it for real and it wasn't a beer, it was a water bottle full of vodka. No one ever accused him of being extremely smart.
