I wouldn't go so far as to imply that the Model T is a clone of the M80, but I wouldn't expect a huge difference in sonic signature between them either, else why pick Axiom to partner with in the first place? I can only imagine that the decision makers at Bryston feel Axiom is dioing something right. Of course, it's still curious to me why Bryston would bother with the venture at all, though I can see the utility of it for Axiom.
