Even More Manliness

Yep, just when you thought it could not be done ...

Anyway it was 100 bucks on CL and it came with some tools. The main attraction was the added size and most of all the color.
It is the cheapest of their line with the bars in front but that works because the better but smaller red one needed to
have the top open to open the drawers.

I installed wheels on both and the gauge of the metal on the red one is heavier.
The black one has looks going for it and I am admittedly shallow so the red one is ... OUT !!!

Got a new thing going on with a diminutive B&K ST2140 pushing the subs. I haven't got the set up done but the bass as is sounds hot unless it's all turned down real real low. I swapped out receivers from the H/T and lost the 2600 to that system but after not having tunes in here for about a week I'm just happy to have tunes back at all. I had the Aragon 2007 pushing them for a while but that too went to the H/T. The rec'r in here now is the old Onkyo TX-SR800. I think the monitor out is 'out' on this but I'll look in the manual for the instructions on how to adjust trim on the fly. I use to know but I forgot.

Alex, after all the improvements you've made lately makes me feel like throwing my stuff out the window. Looks great.

Thanks, Walter. I've been listening to music all day in here.

Making some coffee so I can wake up a bit before I nap.

The coffee maker has been upgraded too.

Are you still running those Monster Tanoys?

I don't know what it is with these Tannoys, I can't part with them, at least not yet. The drivers alone are going for 3K.

I suppose next time I get some time I should try to get out for a listen.
I gotta wait until YAA decides to drop the price on something! He's tough to deal with.

Okay, now I'm jealous.

:D That's a nice looking machine, Alex. How do you like it? Of course, we both know that you bought it based on the description of, "There are two holes on the side and one in the back." :p
It does make good coffee. I'm on my second cup now. I normally don't drink that stuff in the afternoon. I haven't gotten any freshly ground beans into it yet, just the Maxwell House/Bustello combination I like. The glass pot on our old one developed a crack that didn't quite break but it leaked pretty good. It had me scratching my head for a few days. Anyway, Swerd recommended this and since I am a true champion at not thinking for myself, that's what I ended up with. The thermal carafe is glass and not the stainless type that develop vacuum leaks later on. I'm not going to be so happy about that after it shatters but until then all is groovy.
