Ain't that the truth.. Both of my roommates have their parents paying for everything. One is a bit more modest about his money, but the other one buys like there's no tomorrow. Stupid stuff too. Like multiple copies of a pocket knife so he can have one for each pocket, or a $300 Oakley backpack because his 2 other backpacks didn't match when he wanted to go "full Oakley"..
I've tried to avoid working in a restaurant.. Knowing what it's like to be a customer, I don't think I'd do well on the other side.
I've always hated Best Buy, but they're hiring for 10-15 positions. Ranging from AutoTech Trainee, to Cashier, to Home Theater specialist, to Geek Squad. It looks like I'm qualified for most of them, and according to Glass Door most of the positions pay upwards of $10/hr.
