I would just email him your number and ask when he wants to get this done, because you have a forum full of grown men waiting for this to be done...

I was worried someone started a bidding war :p

But he emailed me this morning (like 345a actually) and said his Internet was down yesterday. He's meeting with his house contractors and will call me around 3-4 to arrange to meet. Hopefully my gf will be done with her meeting so I can use her jeep to pick it all up. Didn't realize the sub weighed 90lbs

Edit: dang, where am I going to put my center? Won't fit where my current one is without blocking the tv... Need to read up on bi-wiring I believe it's called? Whatever it is where the speaker has four posts instead of just two..

I tried to find the mk3 manual online to see which input I use when only connecting one.. Eventually I'll probably buy a y splitter, but I cant find the one I thought I had..

Don't worry about the biwiring, there should be a jumper post connecting the terminals...you'll just need to use one set of inputs. I'm not sure how big that center is, but you can always buy or build a riser/shelf to put it in so your tv can be on top of it :D

I'm still not sure if they're the SE models or not so idk if they're the same dimensions as the current line up. If they are then it's 7.5"x 21"x 10.5" @ 26lbs...

My current setup isnt perfect. I don't have a proper tv stand to begin with. I stole my gf's book shelf to put the tv on. Ended up storing movies, the Xbox, and the cable box on it. The current center measures 11 7/16" x 4 13/16" x 4 7/16" and it already kinda pokes over the bottom

I don't know if this is the same as yours or not, but it might help.

I hope you appreciate how lucky you are to have landed this deal. Good deals are hard enough to find, but good deals on good gear
(that is already considered the best bang for the buck!) are extremely rare!

I used to have a turbo. Those curved tubes do rotate, and one end is up and the other is down. The turbo unit should rest nicely on the top of the VTF3. If it isn't, rotate those tubes 180 degrees and rest the other side of the turbo on top of the VTF3. I found that I got plenty of deep bass output with out the turbo so I eventually sold it. The Turbo theoretically multiplies the deep bass output, but some testing has shown that it doesn't help the VTF3 mk3 so much, and is really meant for the VTF3 HO, which was like a higher powered mk3. The turbo tubes should have some rubbery surrounds on the ends, almost like a gasket, and it should fit snugly in the ports on the VTF3.

iPhone quality pics below.. It's still unreal to me how large these things are. My 37" tv looks so insignificant lol. Pretty sure the center weighs as much as the tv!

Just got home again so I'm about to start hooking everything up now. I'll run a new Audyssey setup and then toy with the sub.

Make sure you have some extra money to replace the woofers you puncture with your screw driver.

yikes, no thanks lol. I don't plan on dissembling anything for quite some time.. especially if I run the risk of "puncturing" something :p

Unfortunately, I like my neighbors. I'll have to crank it up in the morning :D What do you guys think my crossover's should be set to for the speakers? Audyssey set it at like 40hz for all of them which means I'm not gettin much out of the sub.

Set them all to 80Hz and let the sub handle everything below that FR, Audyssey always sets them to large or 40Hz. Run Audyssey and set your speakers to 80Hz, keep the levels and distance( you may want to bump the center and sub up a bit + a couple dB, and then disable Audyssey:D

Yeah, I usually bump the center up. I'll have to toy with the sub dB when I get to really listen. I did put the crossover all the way up on it so that doesnt interfere with the receiver settings. I haven't decided where to put the volume knob yet. The guy who sold it warned me to secure anything i have attached to my walls through out the house lol

My gf is forcing my to watch Downton Abbey. I've sat through like 4 episodes today. I hate this show. I used the semi-transparent OSD to bump the center up while the opening credits were rolling and she had a heart attack..
