Amazing post ... amazing wire ... nice wall color too. These wires are what helps get the chocolaty bass.
I had them in the freezer up until about an hour before you guys got here.
Since they're the only speaker wires visible, I got something a little fancy.
Cobalt Cable 10-AWG, at the time they were about $80 per pair.
Those blue things are what's called Ionozation nebulizers.
They use a combination electrospray/microwave induced plasma (MIP) ionization source is used as the ionization source for a mass spectrometer. The electrospray can be operated in positive mode, negative mode, or it can be switched off. The microwave-induced plasma can also be switched on or off. This allows the instrument to be operated in multiple modes. With the electrospray off and the MIP on, the instrument will normally have its maximum elemental sensitivity. Mixed mode operation potentially allows the determination of additional information about the chemical constituents present in the analyte. In pure electrospray mode, it is possible to obtain molecular information and to analyze organic compounds.
So.....I got that going for me too.

Must be my disc. I think I heard it at Walter's too.BTW Alex I did not experience that drop out in my system while playing I feel love.![]()

Seriously that wire looks great in the pic but in real life it doesn't look that flashy. Greg's speaker wire doesn't photograph well but in real life it's really something ... not flashy but just really cool. Weird how that works. Maybe the Sig8's draw all the attention away from the wire ... and the pink wall or is that rose?![]()
If anyone cares; that's Bill Murray's line from Caddy ShackSo.....I got that going for me.![]()
I concur; just seeing if anybody was paying attention.I am uncertain if you know what you are doing. It is a well known fact that unless you set the electrospray to positive and the microwave-induced plasma to the off position, you are just pissing in the wind...
Every time Alex and Adwilk get together they like to quote Bill Murray from Caddy Shack...If anyone cares; that's Bill Murray's line from Caddy Shack![]()
How did you like them in the home? I am so tempted to get myself some. One of my favorite sounding speakers of all. How do they do with HT content? Do they reach sufficient volume levels?
That depends on just how much chocolate you can handle.Do they reach sufficient volume levels?
These are in a stereo setup only... I've never heard them in a HT setting. How did you like them in the home? I am so tempted to get myself some. One of my favorite sounding speakers of all. How do they do with HT content? Do they reach sufficient volume levels?
Mark was nice enough to lend me his Maggies for a while.
Sorry, I only own one set of maggies.Any interest to repeat this ?![]()
I have no idea what that means and I am sure i don't even want to knowThat depends on just how much chocolate you can handle.![]()
