I got one team right in the final four, but only one team is really a surprise. That's VCU I thought they might make the sweet 16, but they really wowed me.

Kentucky is on fire and is playing great team basketball. They are my first pick to win it all of the 4 left.

Butler has the most talent of any team in the tourney and underachieved all year if it comes down to talent they will win.

UCONN has Kimba who is the ultimate one man show, but one man shows are unreliable at times. Still they are on fire from the Big East tourney.

VCU really laid the smack down on Kansas, but I just am not feeling it.

Kentucky v Butler would be epic IMO. Uconn vs VCU would be too. Glad Kentucky is back. I

Yeah, I am very proud of the KY Wildcats! Beating N. Carolina was no easy task. Likewise, it does not get any easier with UCONN. However, I am very proud that my Cats have made it this far. I was also very impressed with what VCU did to Kansas today. Still in shock over that one. Kemba Walker is on fire and will really pose a problem for KY. In the end though, I believe KY will prevail. Facing Butler or VCU will not be a walk in the park either. Go Cats!

Cheers,

Phil

Well, Carolina is out :(. Kentucky outshot and outplayed them. It was tough watching that game. It's always a big disappointment to get eliminated, but in the big dance, all the teams but one get eliminated every year. At least Carolina went further than Duke :p.

VCU! Who knew they could do that? They're the hot team now. I hope they don't pause and look down. My daughter went to VCU. That's a connection. Even though I'm not an alum, I sent them lots of money.

Butler has to be a serious threat because of last year's experience.

U Conn. I went to grad school there. I never really feel a connection to them like I do UNC. I was at the medical school near Hartford, about 45 miles away from the Storrs campus. I had already decided to root for Carolina if they ever faced U Conn.

So I don't have a clue who to root for now. The final four games might just be more relaxing this way.

Yeah, N. Carolina may be out but like always they will be back. The reason being, ROY WILLIAMS! He is one of the, if not, the best coaches coaching today. I liked him even when he was at Kansas. Nothing but class if you ask me. KY did play well today, but Lord did N. Carolina scare me during the last few minutes of the game. UCONN will not make it any easier. Then, there is VCU or Butler. What a tournament! Anyways, congrats to N. Carolina for having a great season and finishing very strong.

Folks now that the shock has worn off that KY made it to the Final Four, I can't help myself but ponder who is going to win it all. Well as much as I like to see KY do it, I do not believe it is going to happen. Even if KY gets past UCONN, chances are they will have to face VCU. After watching what VCU did to Purdue and Kansas alike, things are really looking good for them. In other words, I believe VCU is going to win it all. Personally, I can not wait to find out!

I'm with you on this. I can find something to like about all four teams. And none of them have the type of qualities that people love to hate - like Duke! This is an outstanding tournament.

For the life of me, I'll never understand why there is any oppostion to a college football tournament. If college football championships were decided with a fraction of this excitement, it would be a huge improvement over the cursed BCS.

You know, you might be surprised by the hype for college football here in the Western KY area. The same holds true for SW Indiana. For some reason, I have never gotten into college football at all. All I seem to care about is KY basketball. I do, however, like the NFL. So, it is not a "I hate football" kind of thing. I also agree it has been a great tournament. VCU has impressed me the most. I am, of course, rooting for KY but deep down inside of me I am also rooting for VCU-which seems so weird to me. Can't wait for Saturday to get here.

Cheers,

Phil

If'n I were a college football player and likely to be an NFL prospect, I'm not sure I'd be wanting to play in any more games than are being played right now because if I got injured and it was bad enough I could kiss the NFL career goodbye.

Look for UConn taking both the men's and women's.

I'd like to keep the bowls for the kids, but have an and 1 for the title.

Another fun option might be having 4 team tournaments.

Well folks, KY fell a bit short. It really hurts when you lose by only 1-point. I mean, KY was down 10-points at the half only to come back and tie the game. However, down the stretch KY did not play well and really looked tired. Congrats goes to UCONN! They seemed to have an answer irregardless of what KY did. I also noticed Butler beat VCU. Congrats goes out to them as well. Oh well, KY had a great run but fell short in the end. I am still very proud of them. I assure you, KY will be back next year better than ever!

What a lousy men's final. Terribly played. Was the rim at a different height? Too loose? Smaller diameter? Butler sucked. UConn sucked less. No player from either team is going to make a significant mark in the NBA. OTOH, the alumni at Butler ought to pony up some money for the Butler coach for getting them to the finals 2 years in a row.

Yeah, it really was a weird game. Nothing to brag about for sure. I was hoping for a nail biter down to the last buzzer sort of game. Oh well, there is always next year. KY will be back I assure you that. Already looking forward to it. Congrats to UCONN! Hopefully, next year it will be KY.

Well folks, my KY Wildcats won again today. They beat N. Carolina which was no easy task. Both teams were tested. N. Carolina had a 5-point lead at halftime. However, KY managed to come back and win by 1-point. This game kept me on the edge of my seat throughout. BTW, KY is ranked #1 over-all right now and are 8-0 on the season. Hope it continues!

It will be interesting to see how the rankings stack up tomorrow. I am sure KY will still be #1, but I bet Ohio State will no doubt be second. Just curious to see where N. Carolina will fall. Guess we will all know soon enough. Go Big Blue!

That was an epic game. It's already a great season. Baylor looks unstoppable right now.

Yeah, Baylor looks great. But, so does Ohio State. Especially, after the way they beat Duke last week. Like I said, it will be interesting to see the new rankings. KY plays Indiana next. That always makes for a good game.
