Hello All

Thanks for the thoughts. I do use a subwoofer. I was also leaning running the Left Right full range and using my SPL800R Sub to just handle the rest.

My biggest concern is with GE's center channel. I am not very sure if they are as good as Grand Verus.

Those GE Centers look kind of weak.

Have you listened to the Triton speakers? Make sure you listen to other speakers too.

I am gaining some clarity

When I was at the dealer I listened to both Tritons as well as Paradigm Studio 100.

I liked them both, but with my dealer markup Paradigm Studio 100 (pair) plus CC690 Center came to $4500 plus taxes.

I was not sure about spending that extra $1500.

Now looking at Aperion, I am certain atleast that the speakers can be returned, if I did not like them. My mind is getting clear. Thanks for all the suggestions. Let me know if I can look at anything else as well in this price range.

Talk to amazon.com and see what their policy is for returning speakers. If it is sold directly by amazon, you may be able to return their speakers within 30 days also. That way you could try other brands from Def Tech, NHT, etc.
