There is no way the Chiefs are taking the West..San Deigo is notorious for starting the season slow.
Yeah but I'm pretty sure San Diego has a harder schedule than the Cheifs and scheduling plays a big deal in making the playoffs. It's part of the reason the Cowboys have such a bad record. They haven't had an easy team to pick on yet.

I think this Sunday will be the turning point for the Bolts' season. If they can somehow muster a win against the hated Pats, then I can see them turning things around and having a good season. If they lose, that may be the beginning of the end.

I don't want to suffer through mediocrity I'd rather go 1-15 get some good picks and a good coach than to barely miss the playoffs.

It is going to be hard for SD to make their trademark early playoff exit when they can't even make the playoffs.

Hitting the upright and now the Raiders look like the team on a comeback mission.

Seriously, I have no life.
I'm just having a great time watching Brent Farvre throw interceptions instead of just holding onto the ball. Makes me happy to see he didn't give up his bad habits when he left Green Bay. Two interceptions, two touchdowns for the Packers!

WOO HOO!:D

The games not over yet and there is lots of time. Favre has a ton of weapons and can strike quickly. He can still work magic. Rodgers is nothing spectacular tonight either.

Huh...I picked up Farve off waviers in our fantasy pool and started him today. What makes this a joke is Jay Culter had 5 turnovers and will likely have better stats then Bret. Good thing I didn't need points from the QB position....

Favre looks like he needs a cane to get off the field. I don't see his health holding up over the course of the year. The suspension he most likely faces for his off the field issues might be a good thing to heal up a bit. Great game to watch. A nail biter.

When Holmgren was still in Green Bay, a reporter asked if Favre had ulcers and Holmgren said, "No, but he's a carrier".

I guess Childress knows what Holmgren was referring to.

Frickin Bolts! How many ways can a team find to loose?
Catch a ball, fall down, leave the ball on the ground even though no one touched me. WTF!? And what was with the forward/reverse pass. It sure looked like it went foreward to me. What did the refs see that I didn't?

Yeah, this season's been looking like a comedy of errors. About the only solace I can take from yesterday's game was that the defense played pretty damn well.

I HATE that Norv pussed out and tried for the tying field goal instead of just going for the damn win!! And of course we get a damn false start on what would have been a 45 yard try. That 5 yard penalty cost us the field goal. I realize that the defense had been playing well all day and had just stuffed the Pats on a 4th and 1, but gimme a break, try to win the damn game!!! If I was a coach, I would just take field goals out of my play book.

And why the hell is Mathews only getting the ball about 5 times a game?!?!? What the hell did we give up LT for?!?! If his ankle injury is still bothering him, then just sit him for a week and let him heal up!!

At least special teams didn't suck this week.

We've got a big game tonight. The "weak @ss Giants" play the "born to loose Cowboys." Who will screw it up this time?

Looks like Romo is out so that makes it easy. So who will be coaching the boys next year?

Gruden
Cowher
Billick
Garrett

Any thoughts?

maybe you will get a good pick in the draft? that's what I'm banking on. Thank goodness for the World Series and my college team becoming bowl eliglible for the first time in like 15 years.

yeah, how bout those Bears? Really hoping they can win the south so Mizzou can stomp a mud-hole in them... I dont think the Tigers can beat OK twice....

Anthony Castonzo would be a nice addition to the Cowboys with that high draft pick.

Baylor has to beat OU to win the south so if they did beat OU I don't think stomping a mud-hole would happen. It would be a shootout because Baylor has the best offense in the nation. A 510 yards a game average is a lot.

Garrett. LOL. He will be fired with Wade and the rest of the staff. The other 3 on that list is interesting and a BIG improvement in the head coach position. See what I have been saying the last 3 years lsiberian? You have finally seen the light at the end of the tunnel.

They are saying an injury such as Romo's takes 8-10 weeks to heal.
