Yep, that was an ***-whoopin' for sure. What the hell happened to the Cardinals? They were just in the Super Bowl for Pete's sake? Were they not grooming a back up QB for Warners' inevitable retirement?

LT looked like his old self yesterday. Where were those moves for the last 3 years?

Good to see him doing well, it just hurts to see him doing it in another uniform.
It shows how much the quarterback meant to that team.

Its not LT being his old self. He is being far over-hyped after that performance. It was more the fact he was playing the Buffalo Bills. By far the worst defense in the league. Teams have been running on them all year. They now run a 3-4 and 3 of their linebackers I would not even consider as starters. They moved 1 DE to LB that can't play that position , moved a NT to DE which is not working and the rest of players besides their secondary would either, not have a job on another NFL team or be a 3rd string player. Their talent level on defense is about practice squad level players in some areas.

Local News report says that Vick X-Ray shows no broken bones so far as a normal X-Ray goes, he will get an MRI today and those results will take 1 to 2 days so who knows , I guess the Hair of the Dog got em finally, that whole Karma thing.

* Now a little electrocution followed by light drowning and we'll call it even.

The Buffalo Bills are so bad, players are even admitting to the media that they are being laughed at on the field by opposing teams. I think Rex and staff even got in on a few laughs after Donte "bust" Whitner, whiffed so badly on LT. Yes, he was picked 8th overall in the draft like 4 years ago. LOL

Something tells me that hit was personal. Vick really hurt D Hall when he go busted.

Randy Moss traded to the Minnesota Vikings for a 3rd round pick. Oh baby! Once Rice becomes healthy Farve has no excuses now with Moss, Rice, Harvin, Berrian and Schiancoe. Deadly combo.

On the other side it will be interesting to follow how this move plays out with the NE passing game over the year.

Won't the Vikes ever learn? Don't they remember the Hershal Walker trade?

This is exactly what the Vikings offense needs especially since Sidney Rice is injured. The height advantage with Moss against the CB is what I think Farve will try to take advantage of down field (man to man coverage) and especially against the blitz when Farve is pressured. Look how valuable that type of receiver was for Eli Manning.

This is an awesome trade for the Vikings IMO.

Only if they win this year. If not, then they just sold a piece of their future. Again.

Back when the HW trade went down, the Vikes had a great passing game, but little to no running game. It was thought that HW would solve that, and send them into the SB. History tells the rest.

They only gave up a 3rd round pick. Its nothing. If they don't win this year, they still can re-sign him. Re-signing him is a big possibility. His reception from the fanbase back to Minnesota is overwhelming positive.

BTW the Vikings already have a great passing game. Right now their best and most suitable WR for Farve (that opens up plays to the TE and Slot) is injured and is why they are struggling. Moss can still play and is a valuable deep threat which is what they are lacking. When Sidney Rice comes back they should be deadly. He is one of the best WR's in the NFC. I can't wait to watch this team, when he comes back healthy.

That's true. It's not the same as when they traded their whole future for one back. It just made me remember when....

I hope you are right. I'd like to see the Vikes go to the big dance.

Another genius move by the New England front office. They have 2 pick per round in next years draft and should be able to load up on talent for a team in transition. I don't see them winning a Super Bowl this year even with Moss because their Defense is in rebuilding.

Minnesota just upgraded big.

Their draft board looks really nice about now. They could even have a possible top 10 pick with that of the raiders. It wouldn't surprise me if they traded down even more. All this did come at some cost at being currently competitive, and part of their current defensive woes and that of last year and losing in the playoffs was having no pass rush. No doubt the Patriots are a worse football team today without Moss just like last year when they traded Seymour.

I am interested to see how and if this effects their offense and Welkers effectiveness and production in general.

Moss is so overrated for a guy with more natural talent than any receiver in the game's history. He'll play hard (for him which means 60% of plays) the rest of this year, then he start is usual routine of taking more plays off than on and faking blocking on run plays.

Since there is absolutely NO hope of the weak-*** Raiders selling out this week, me and 3 other Bolt fans are going to the game. I went a couple of years ago and it was no big deal. I got some razzing from some of the fans but nothing that I shouldn't have expected. I am the enemy by the way.

Tickets are gonna cost $100 each with the fees and stuff.

Going to the games is such a rip-off.

I'm not so sure he's rated all that high. He's certainly not the best receiver in the league and I'd take Miles Austin over Moss at this point in their careers.

Fitz and Andre are the top receivers in the NFL right now. Too bad Fitz has no QB right now.

The latest rumors swirling around are that now NE is going after VJ. Doesn't make much sense to me though. Sure NE has the picks to give away, but why would they want VJ when they just gave up Moss?

Plus I'd hate for VJ to go to an AFC team and be a thorn in our side.

I wonder if Moss has an injury that hasn't come out yet.

What I have been hearing out of New England is that Moss wanted a new contract before the year was over and either New England was not willing to re-sign during the year or not interested in re-signing him at all.

This factor along with the idea he was not being used as much in the game plan, which has been evident the last few weeks, Moss was becoming disgruntled, started to become a cancer in the locker room and basically shut down. There are reports he was moved by the front office to Minnesota shortly after a shouting match with the head coach.

No reports of Moss having any types of injuries.

I heard something similar. But again the VJ trade doesn't make sense in this scenario. The Bolts are letting him go because he wants a long-term deal. If the Pats didn't want to give Moss a new deal, why would they want to give one to VJ?

VJ is younger isn't he?
