On a side note, I think Merriman is done. The guy can't stay healthy to save his life. I predict he's gone after this season.
he got caught so of course he's a shadow of his former self. But being on roids makes it much easier to build muscle.

Good Football Sunday Morning Everyone

It is time for a showdown of sorts in the NFL D.Nabb Vs. The entire Philly sports nation, lol. Well at least that's how the Media want to spin it, I personally think the guy will get a warm ovation from the fans and the game should be a very competitive one with the Eagles coming out on top of course,
Let's Go Eagles !

I think he definitely will get a warm ovation. He's the best QB yall have ever had. I think he should be in the hall. He would have won the Super Bowl if they'd had a receiver for him in his prime. TO doesn't count because of his antics, but just look at what he did with TO. Vick is fortunate to have all the receivers that Reid picked and he has a good chance to win the East this year.

Bood when drafted as an Eagle, bood and criticized constantly as an Eagle (even with some success). So why would they cheer him today when he is the enemy of the opposing team? I will say you hear boos.

My favorite Philly fan quote was from Tug McGraw( I believe)...what do philly fans do after a win..."go to the airport and cheer crash landings".;).

They read their sports pages, know their statistics and either root like hell or boo our butts off. I love it. Give me vocal fans, pro or con, over the tourist types who show up in Houston or Montreal and just sit there.

Well this is a good start to Football Sunday but I will address your post in this manner, First McNabb was booed on draft day by six drunk Philly fans that were sent by a local Eagle fan club to root and cheer for Ricky Williams, they had their tickets bought and paid for to get there and there rooms were paid for and obviously their booze was supplied as well, these D-Bags did not represent the Philly Fan Base as a whole.
Secondly I will ask have you ever been to a game at Vet Stadium and or Lincoln Financial Field ,I have since I have been a season ticket holder for twenty plus years, and I can assure you that Donovan was not Booed by the fans as you say. He was criticized by the media yes, the media are not and will not ever be the voice of the fans.
Whether or not he gets booed or cheered I will say that he was definitely respected and this is coming from a non Dono fan.

Update Update Update

McNabb got a standing ovation when introduced to the crowd, to the point of zero on the Boo radar. The real fans appreciate his devotion to the team and the sport, now too bad his return will not be memorable for Skins Fans. :D

That's great to have season tickets buddy. It looks like Mcnabb is at home again.

It is great to have them but I personally only get to a couple of games, my son usually goes to the games as I have really decided a few years back that making every game is just out of the question so being the owner I pick the two games I want, I am the one that pays the bill, and he gets the rest, :D
I will go to the Colts and probably The Vikings or maybe The Giants not sure yet.
Vick is out with banged up ribs and the Skins are playing good D so The Birds are in a wee bit of trouble.:(

The Packers were lucky to win today.
There's been very little rhythm to their offense the last couple of weeks.

Superbowl shuffle, Packer style, on hold.:(

Tonite, I'm a Giants fan.

The boys need some help from the Bears tonight. I think they have the edge with that nasty D and Martz coaching the offense. The problem for the bears has always been health on Defense and a subpar offense. They've looked good, but who knows where they really line up. We need a few more weeks.

The Jets looks very good right now.

I could easily do that but the euphoria that builds up over the Phillies and their chances to get to series and the 8:00 start of a relief football game keeps me smiling, remember just as I do, the whole M Vick thing may have just been a mirage when in reality it was supposed to be K Kolb starting while the team re-builds so I guess it truly is one of those no harm no foul deals. I think its cool that the Birds almost pulled out the victory if only Jason Avant holds on to that ball that Kolb laid right on his fingertips.Oh well reality bites us in the butt sometimes :(

As a Redskins fan who has had very little to cheer about for quite a few years, it was great to see McNabb show the Eagles why they should never have traded him to another NFL East team. Talk about division parity, the Redskins lead the division… until they play NY. The Redskins defense was lucky that they were just barely able to hang on in the 4th quarter, unlike the other week when they couldn't stop Houston. The biggest surprise to me was the Washington O line protected McNabb (no sacks) and they ran for over 150 yds. The Eagles defense looked very weak.

Any word on Vick's rib injury?

Yep, that was an ***-whoopin' for sure. What the hell happened to the Cardinals? They were just in the Super Bowl for Pete's sake? Were they not grooming a back up QB for Warners' inevitable retirement?

LT looked like his old self yesterday. Where were those moves for the last 3 years?

Good to see him doing well, it just hurts to see him doing it in another uniform.
