Eagles lost both the starting fullback Leonard Weaver (pro-bowler) and the starting center J Jackson for the season and or even longer two serious injuries, just plain suczz, K Kolb has a really bad headache (concussed ) probably started the minute they announced the McNabb trade ;)
The final injury is really something to worry about , Stew Bradley is also concussed to the point of memory loss, not real good for a starting linebacker in the NFL, could be devastating injuries for the Birds with irreversible consequences , too bad really :(

Tough break only for Dallas fans :D.

Both teams had good defense. The Redskins defense won the game. McNabb looked kinda rusty, 15 completions out of 32 passes for 171 yards. The Washington O line is still a work-in-progress, and they had very little effective running game. The Dallas offense didn't look any better. 12 penalties, including several critical offensive holding calls hurt them. Just the same, beating Dallas in the 1st game - I'll take it. Last year, the Skins lost all 6 division games (plus 6 others).

I still think the Giants and Dallas are the teams to beat in the NFC East, with the edge going to NY. Washington will do good if they win 8 games.
I'm a Giants fan, but not ready to call them ready to win. It seems like they do well when they are expected to loose, and stink up the field when they are expected to win. I never count on them to win until the games are over. When they are ahead, I expect them to find a way to loose. It's tough to watch them.
I'll take the 1-0 record though. Undefeated thus far!
8-8 for Washington would be a good improvement over last year. They've already beat the Boys and could be a spoiler again as this season goes on.

The result Bradley hit was really scary. He got up, staggered around, and then fell right back down.

What's ironic is that the hit was totally unnecessary. The ballcarrier was already going down and he felt the need to dive in and add something extra- he ended up clocking his noggin on his own teammate (Also diving in to add something extra).

I was thinking 8-8 season for the Eagles...Now that looks like a long shot with all the injuries. We'll see. I'm still behind them and am looking at them getting Kolb the experience he needs. I just hope the O-line and Reid don't get him killed.

Hopefully Vick performed well enough for the Eagles to get what they want in a trade. I would rather watch them lose with Kolb than win with Vick and I think they can win with Kolb if they get a O-line in place.

Andy Reid needs to be replaced.

I got the DVR programmed, plus I think I'm supposed to be teaching tonight because my teacher injured his hand.
Make sure you have it programmed to extend by at least 30 minutes. (maybe an hour wouldn't hurt)

Wade didn't lose that game. Our Offensive Line did. Who's idea was it to let Flozell go? I don't care how dirty he is. He protected Romo's backside.

All that talent is going to waste with a terrible OL. Choice shouldn't have fumbled and romo should have just ended the half, but Wade's D did their job. We all know Jerry is the real head coach anyway.

Glad we agree on something. The Eagles and Cowboys both started slow last year too I think. So maybe they will turn it on at the end. Vick scares me.

Romo did not look good yesterday. The biggest problem is their offensive line and Romo is not one of the elite quarterbacks that can play without an offensive line. Roy Williams played great I thought.

Miles Austin is becoming a force.

No one can play without an offensive line. Both Brady and Manning get destroyed when their lines can't protect. But Romo is still one of the better QBs without a line. They lost because Barron tackled his guy not because Romo didn't get the job done.

Aaron Rodgers can. :p

There comes a time when you have to face pressure as a quarterback and Romo is just not that good in those instances.

Rodgers threw 2 picks yesterday under pressure. I'd say he's got a lot more to learn. Peyton looked terrible under pressure too.

Romo is great QB once you've had Quincy Carter.

Rodgers has a horrible offensive line. The worst in the NFL last year. Did you see what he did? Oh yeah, the Packers did win the game.

Romo is not in the same class as Manning, Brees, Brady. Not even close.

Rodgers isn't in that class either. ;)

You're right, he isn't. Not yet. However, to say a quarterback can't succeed without an offensive line is false. IMO a better quarterback than Romo. He does more working with less from what I have seen with him so far.

As for fantasy if you have Aaron Rodgers, play him this week. They are playing the Bills and they have no pass rush. I believe the packers have their starting RB injured so they might even throw the ball more. The Bills changed their defensive scheme to 3-4 and do not have the personnel to run the scheme. They are using what would be considered a 2-3rd defensive end on most teams as a starting linebacker in this scheme and their two starting linebackers are injured.

I hope I am proven wrong, but Rodgers is going to eat that defense alive. I expect him to have a huge stat day.
