Even if you had AC to help out with the heat, it certainly won't be working now...sounds like most of the province has lost power. Our recent heat wave has turned into a cold front and today is certainly jacket weather.

We've been fortunate - we still have power ATM, and I suspect we won't lose it now. It's still quite blustery, but nowhere near as bad as it was a couple of hours ago. The rain has stopped and the sun is actually trying to peak through.
My sister, who lives about 20km away has lost power. She and her husband will come over tomorrow morning if they haven't got it back by then. And, friends of ours, who live about 20km in the opposite direction also lost power.
I'd like to open the windows wide, to cool the house down as it's 23 degrees outside now. But, they're casement-type and I don't want the wind to carry them away.
At least the forecast is calling for cooler temperatures for the next few days.
Thanks for your concern, Billy - we're good, with just a touch of cabin-fever.
