our listing was just finalized with pics. tomorrow is out first showing !!!
out unit is VERY attractive to seniors and handicap. as it is 1st floor and not 1 step, anywhere. plus lots of other things.

i have been worried. now i am excited. but i don't have great expectations.

there is no spirit left, it all drained out. the only thing that keeps me 'hopefull", is looking at the houses on realtor.com. "dreaming and hoping" is all i have for now.

i even dropped my price 10k. and it was priced well before. i thought this would 'at least' draw some tire kickers. nope.

hey. i had my 2nd showing today !!!!!!

thing is, i don't believe it is real, kinda. 2 1/2 months on the market and only 1 showing. my realtor could be thinking that i think they are not doing anything for me. so they "set up" a showing. know what i mean. but i know that the market is CRAP, so i am not blaming them, either way. i figure we will be here for a WHILE.

It is a really tough market out there. In se Wisconsin, the condo market has 24 months of supply at the current sales rate. Houses are at 12 months which would probably be more but for the people that said no way and haven't bothered to list. I haven't listed mine but that's due to the water leak that killed any chance of listing this year.

i know. i have been watching sold places, not many of them. and even the cheap places are not selling.

UPDATE

HELLO, guys. i haven't been around in a while. i took my system down, because it was freaking out buyers. about 6 months now.

but
I HAVE A FREAKING CONTRACT ON MY PLACE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
everything is going well. and if it stays that way, closing is the 18th.

i just started house hunting. and have a prospect, but it does have issues, that i am finding out if i can deal with them. and perhaps something else will come up in the mean time.
